UCloud is migrating to a new system where only one provider - SDU/K8s will remain. The AAU/K8s and the AAU/VM providers will be decommissioned.
April 27, 2026 - May 4, 2026: Downtime of all services in connection with the migration. The downtime will begin at 8:00 AM
Projects using AAU/K8s & AAU/VM resources
- Principal Investigators (PIs) have been contacted via email. The email includes what actions to take to protect data stored on the AAU providers.
- In case the project PI is on leave or out of office, project administators can take the recommended migration steps. AU's UCloud back-office is contacting with the project admins in these specific cases.
Projects using SDU/K8s resources
- Remaining compute will be administratively allocated to the new machine types on the new data center.
- Data will be automatically migrated to the new center.
